Associate Director, Large Transaction Team
Are you an experienced, driven, and creative professional ready to assist our clients with financing solutions? As an Associate Director within the Large Transaction Team at RNHB, you will play a crucial role in executing and structuring financing transactions for our clients. You will work in a small, highly experienced team with regular access to our management team.
Your key responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for structuring and underwriting large senior loans, managing existing client portfolios, and overseeing deal processes and project management within a deal team. You will realize financing solutions for new and existing customers, including senior loans, bridge and mezzanine financing and equity investments. As the main point of contact for new clients, you will manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring excellent relationships and portfolio growth. Collaboration with relationship directors, real estate specialists, legal experts, and risk analysts will be key to delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as a central hub, coordinating internally and with clients, always prioritizing their needs.
As an Associate Director, you:
- Focus on how we can make deals work, leveraging your experience in real estate, financing, and creative deal structuring;
- Work independently, proactively seeking commercial opportunities with a natural flair for it;
- Have analytical skills that enable you to quickly grasp the essence of a case, and your proficiency in Excel will help you create and understand complex financial models;
- Prioritize customer interests, by combining substance, solution-oriented thinking and customer interaction;
- Are energetic, curious and have an investigative nature that will be especially valuable in understanding real estate market developments;
- Will be critical of others and yourself, enjoying collaboration in broad teams where you act as both a connector and a process manager.
What are we looking for?

Through our Associate Directors we grow our business, manage clients and their portfolios and exceed client expectations. You will focus on new transactions and client retention, making you a key player in our organization. Additionally:
- You have at least a completed HBO education, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, and/or Real Estate Agency;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate financing, deal structuring, or portfolio management;
- "Creative" and "energetic" are your second and third nature;
- You are a team player, independent, and proactive;
- You have analytical and commercial skills;
- You are proficient in both spoken and written English and preferably in Dutch as well.
